Ceramic artist Gene Dodak’s exhibition The Making of a Warrior continues through Nov. 30. After a career in landscape and design in the Bay Area, Dodak rediscovered a love of clay after moving to Palm Springs in 2004. “I’m captivated by the Polynesian cultures, nature, marine life, and the visual arts throughout history,” he states. “Creating artwork expresses a connection to the spiritual.”
